1. Developed materials, including presentations and computational simulations in MATLAB and Python, for the Certificate Program in Automation and Industrial Informatics. Topics covered included process modeling, mass and energy balances, multi-objective optimization of dynamic systems, computational tools for optimization, and predictive control. Developed models for processes such as spray drying, flotation plant, industrial beer fermentation, and solvent extraction. 2. Created computational simulations in Python and materials for the Executive Course in Experimental Design for Optimal Food Formulation, covering topics like experimental designs, response surface models, and multi-objective optimization. 3. Contributed to a consultancy project for AB InBev, developing phenomenological models, regression and classification models, and control schemes for the fermentation process.
Assisted in the development of course materials, including presentations and computational simulations, specifically related to the development and calibration of dynamic models in biotechnology and the optimization of these processes.
Support in R&D project commissioned by UC. Responsible for the design and evaluation, through simulation, of automatic control strategies for the industrial-scale fermentation process. Consultancy provided to AB InBev, which included process modeling, data analysis, and the implementation of control strategies.
I collaborated in the development of workshops and tests for the students and supervised a group in the completion of their final course project. Additionally, I supported the students during the workshops, resolving questions and queries related to the concepts of dynamics and process control.
