A reliable and enthusiastic freelancer interpreter with over ten years of experience in the field and a level of experience in translating. Worked in the medical field for five years. Now a days I work as a legal interpreter in courts, prisons and probation services and have been in the field for over five years. I am also a language teacher with a wealth of experience across adult education, voluntary and community sectors. I am currently seeking opportunities in language interpreting English-Spanish/ Spanish-English.
I n the past year I have gained a lot of experience working as a medical interpreter in different scenarios such as medical evaluations for the DWP, mental health diagnosis, worked in specialized clinics in hospitals and treatment in general. This covers a wide range of assignments such as psychological therapies working with adults, families, adolescents, children, psychiatry and general health. I feel proud to be qualified as 'preferred interpreter' in many instances.
