I am an Engineer-in-training based in Vancouver, and I have a great passion for the environment. I love getting into the outdoors, especially in my home province of BC, and believe in preserving our ecosystems and biodiversity. I’m interested in how we can address major problems facing our local and global society resulting from global climate change and increase the adaptivity, resiliency and sustainability of our systems. I’m particularly interested in changes that we will see in hydrology and the ways in which water infrastructure will need to adapt to meet them. I’ve gained a diverse range of experience through multiple internship positions and am always looking to broaden my understanding of how natural processes intersect with the engineered environment.
Working as an EIT in the Water and Wastewater conveyance group alongside multiple other teams in WSP is a rewarding role offering great experience in drainage, water supply, sewer and pump station design and construction management.
As an Engineering Assistant for NHC, I prepared proposals and technical reports for various clients, collect hydraulic and hydrological data in the field, provide engineering analysis, mapping, and modelling services, and reported my results to clients.
