As a Business Growth Consultant, I help SME business owners improve the profitability and the value of their business so they can scale their business, free their time, and build their legacy, As an exit strategist, I believe that it is never too early for you to plan your exit strategy and this must be an integral part of your business plan. There are two main aspects to consider when planning your exit or retirement: Financial Readiness and Emotional Readiness, My ideal client is a SME business owner looking to retire, or exit their business, at any time between 2 and 5 years from now. So, I focus on the “baby boomer” generation of SME business owners, but not to the exclusion of others. I also help these business owners increase profits, add value and scalability to their business with a view to implementing a strategy for them to sell or otherwise exit their business. At the same time building their legacy so they realise maximum value for their asset when the ‘big payday’ comes around. I prefer to work with individual business owners on a 1:1 basis, either weekly or fortnightly, over a period of 6-12 months. I also offer group coaching workshops and facilitate Mastermind group discussions for like-minded business owners. If we agree to work together, my fees are an investment, not a cost because I promise to give you a return on investment of at least double my fee. The program pays for itself or I'm gone.

I mentored and coached numerous professional staff members and partners at KPMG in South Africa and the CIS (based in Moscow in Russia) and my greatest reward was to see them being admitted as partners of the Firm. Some of these individuals are now leaders of the KPMG practice Nationally and Internationally. I was also actively involved in the development and implementation of the Senior Manager and Partner Development Programs for KPMG in South Africa and the CIS (based in Moscow). I often led and presented the various modules on this important professional development courses. Since retiring from the profession in February 2009, I joined YB12 (Your Best Year Ever) and have continued to use my expertise as a personal development coach and mentor, when working with clients, which is very much in alignment with my Mission.
Usual directors duties
I was nominated as a director of RIS Group Limited (RIS) by VIG Limited (VIG) in accordance with the terms of the Convertible Note agreement between RIS and VIG. I was appointed to the Board of RIS at a time when this NZAX listed company was having significant problems with complying with NZX rules and reporting requirements. In a very short space of time through close liaison with NZX, our auditors and advisors we were able to get the company NZX compliant. The Board worked hard to restructure the company which was ultimately achieved early in February 2016. I retired as a director on 26 February 2016 in accordance with the "Reverse Takeover" agreement with Trusts associated with John and Michael Chow. The company has since changed its name to Chow Group Limited (CGL).
