I started in early 2016 with Sobi as patient Access Lead UK and ROI for the Special Care and Partner Products Division dealing in rare diseases. After an exciting 2016, I have now been promoted to Regional Director - Patient Access for Europe, Middle East, North Africa and Russia (EMENAR). I am excited to take up this fresh challenge and play a key role in the launch of new Partner products into these key markets. Previously, I was with Aspiratus Limited, a specialist organisation drawing on a combined total of 45 years experience in Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices, senior sales and market access management. As Head of Healthcare Solutions at Ferring Pharmaceuticals with portfolio responsibility in Urology and Gastroenterology, I was responsible for strategy development for the Healthcare Solutions team so ensuring Ferrings Market Access function added value to the organisation as a whole by developing KPI's which complemenedt the key strategic direction of the core brands. Working closely with Medical and Commercial, I also contributed to the production of HTA/Guidelines as well as the development of PAS schemes. Previously, I was the Market Access National Manager in the Specialised Products Division of Abbott, competing in the challenging high cost, PbR excluded drugs market. I have also spent 5 1/2 years driving the Humira brand for Abbott Laboratories within Market Acess. I am regarded as an implementer as well as a strategic thinker with an expertise in Key Account Management. I have successfully achieved Regional, National and Senior Management success by leading from the front, bringing a clear focus for my teams and fostering a "will to win" attitude to ensure sucess.
Working with Celltrion Healthcare launching the new Adalimumab (Yuflyma) into the NHS. Enjoying a successful launch into a an already crowded market, managing all aspects of supply chain, marketing and sales into NHS Trusts throughout the UK.
Recruiting sales agents as well as devising market access and sales strategies for a wide range of healthcare organisiations. Working closely with partner organisations to deliver "partnership and growth".
I Lead the Market Access Division within Ferring Pharmaceuticals supporting two key therapy areas in Urology and Gastroenterology. As part of the Senior Management team, I am responsible for devising and implementation of the national strategy to complement the key divisions within Ferring. I also ensure that the Healthcare Solutions team work in concert with the sales teams in delivering planned sales. Integral to the role, I also work closely with both the Medical and Health Economic functions to ensure HTA's are successfully submitted when appropriate, as well as ensure the organisation remains aligned to any changes in the NHS in the UK.
