I have advised Boards and Executive teams to deliver on their turnaround and transformation objectives in the UK and abroad in both the public and private sectors. I am passionate about delivering change and bringing people together around common goals and objectives. I take a hands-on approach to get things done and I am a firm believer in the importance of regular and honest dialogue with staff at all levels to make sure people are engaged, listened to and energised around change. I am KPMG’s national lead for financial improvement work in Healthcare and two of the Trusts I have recently supported have subsequently left special measures regimes. I have also written on the importance of turnaround in the NHS and developed our methodologies for grip and control, and deficit reduction. I am also a member of KPMG’s cash team and have deep experience in rapid cost reduction in a number of sectors including automotive, telecommunications, oil and gas and defence.
I am a Senior Manager at KPMG focussing on Turnaround, Transformation and Liquidity assignments for organisations experiencing significant change in the UK and Europe. I work on large and complex change programmes reporting directly to Executives and Senior Leadership to support them to overcome a range of issues including: stakeholder uncertainty, cash and liquidity shortages, operational and financial decline, loss of financial grip/control and governance challenges. I work in both the Public and Private sector - with a current focus in Healthcare and Defence.
