Trainer, technical author, consultant in the area of software testing. Recent work: Recently I've been presenting training courses for a number of clients, on a variety of technologies, including: - testing tools including LoadRunner, UFT, JMeter and Selenium - programming languages including Java, Python and C# - Agile practices March 2018-August 2019: I worked as an automation engineer on a contract at Worldpay (now part of FIS), the leading electronic payments company, based at their headquarters in the City of London. I used Micro Focus/HPE tools (ALM and UFT) to automate business processes in a Siebel application that is Worldpay's primary CRM system. Earlier in 2018: I worked on an education project in Malaysia for a local company, Technology Education Leader Sdn Bhd (TEL). - This project was part of a government-backed initiative to introduce fresh graduate students to concepts in software testing, give them practical experience and give them an edge in starting their careers. - For this project I created several training modules covering various software principles including Scrum methodology and using cloud technology such as Amazon Web Services as well as both open source and commercial testing tools. - Working with TEL staff and a fellow instructor, over the duration of the project I presented the training to about 180 students from several universities, in different classroom locations and online.
At HP, I presented training on HP Software's business technology optimisation (BTO) products including Unified Functional Testing (UFT, formerly known as QuickTest Professional or QTP), LoadRunner, ALM / Quality Center and Performance Center.
I presented training on Anite's range of products for the mobile telecommunications industry, including the SAS, PT and CT testing tools, using GSM, (E)GPRS, WCDMA and HSPA technologies and C/C++ and TTCN programming languages.
