Advanced PCN Level 2 Technician As an experienced senior inspector with a solid background in the oil, gas, chemical, and energy industries, I have acquired extensive expertise over the years. I have had the privilege of working alongside Johnson Matthey at their Brimsdown, London site for the past four years. Duties and Responsibilities: Conducting thorough inspections of pipelines, tanks, pipe bridges, GRP tanks, and bunded areas. Ensuring that all assets are maintained in compliance with industry standards and regulations. Utilizing advanced inspection techniques and tools to assess the integrity and safety of critical infrastructure. Producing detailed inspection reports that accurately reflect the condition and compliance status of the assets. My role demands a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational integrity. onducted visual inspections of pressure vessels, pipelines, reactors, and ships using MT, DP, and UT techniques. Delivered detailed inspection reports with recommendations for remedial action. Performed Thickness Measurement (TM) Surveys in accordance with Lloyd’s Register standards. Inspected storage tanks for major clients including NuStar, Ineos, ESL Fuels, and Cargills, using Silverwing technology for advanced diagnostics. Carried out internal/external inspections, data analysis, and reporting to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Evaluated components in inaccessible areas, including propellers, flanges, hubs, and reactors. Performed ultrasonic thickness measurements of hull plating and shell structures. Executed corrosion mapping, lamination plotting, and wastage calculations. Delivered inspections aligned with ASME codes and HSE legislation. Conducted hull thickness surveys (dry dock/offshore) per LR, DNV, ABS, RINA, GL, and BV standards. Supported risk-based inspection (RBI) programs with NDT services. Utilized magnetic flux leakage (MFL) and scorpion crawler systems for tank corrosion assessments (EEUMA 159 compliant). Performed vacuum box leak testing and ensured client liaison throughout all inspection phases to maintain transparency and trust.

My current job role is Advanced NDT Inspection. I am qualified in CSWIP 3.0 Visual, MPI, DPI, UT 3.1 3.2 and Phased Array I am currently studying other advanced NDT techniques as part of my development including Time if flight diffraction , corrosion mapping and long rang Ultrasonic to name but a few.
