Reading, Massachusetts, United States
I recently graduated from Colby College, where I played on the varsity baseball team and double majored in Government and History. I was also a member of numerous clubs and organizations on campus, including Hope Happens Here and the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. I plan to attend law school and pursue a career in Law or Politics. I pride myself on my organization and time management skills, which I rely on to minimize stress and achieve my academic and athletic goals. My personal circumstances and previous work experience have shaped my passion for confronting the opioid crisis, mental health struggles, and longstanding civil rights issues. I most recently worked in Representative Pignatelli's office, using my advanced literacy skills to answer constituents' demands and continue gaining experience in my desired field. I also spent the last few years and this past summer working for Anderson Handyman Services, where I worked under a highly skilled laborer, completing tasks like construction, painting, and power washing to earn supplemental income while preparing to enter law school.
