With my past experiences and current ones, I am always open to new opportunities that allow me to work within my passions of sports and business. I like to be open to new ventures and seek roles that bring my passion to light. While currently working part-time for the Winnipeg Rec Hockey League and owning the County Royals - I am looking for an increased opportunity to succeed in, particularly in the sports business world.
This role has allowed me to use many of the skills acquired from my degree obtained at Laurentian University. Through my role as Director of Business Operations, I have secured many strategic sponsorships selling the many offerings that hosting sporting events has to offer. My favourite part of being on this journey is interacting with community through sport, participating in the Christmas parades, helping raise money/ food donations for local food banks, polar plunges supporting the build of a local hospital, and inviting young community members to be around the team and interact with the players on the team.
