I build and run businesses — with full P&L accountability, skin in the game, and AI as the growth engine. As CEO of a manufacturing company in China, I took over a declining business, restructured management, scaled from 200 to 450+ people, and led the eventual sale. As co-founder and Managing Director of CoMedium, I built and funded four digital ventures from scratch. As Interim CEO of a pan-European eCommerce venture, I established operating cadence, governance, and the commercial engine from zero. For the past six years at BCG X, I've paired that operator background with AI and digital transformation at scale — moving 10+ organizations from pilots to enterprise-wide platforms, with direct accountability for commercial outcomes: +25% sales productivity, 10%+ procurement savings, marketing cycles cut from 6 months to 4 weeks. I'm drawn to situations where the mandate is real: a business to lead, transform, or scale — in consumer, industrial, or tech, ideally in a PE, family business, or carve-out context.
Business builder & operator for sports and consumer; DTC, ecosystem builds, SportsTech - Led board-sponsored transformations across procurement, legal & compliance, marketing and commercial to hard-wire AI into daily decisions (planning, pricing/ticketing, CRM, performance media). - Built and scaled marketplaces/eCom/B2B2C from 0→1→100; established squads, P&L guardrails, and operating cadence that became BAU. - Designed AI-centric operating models E2E from process and role changes to tech solution and data products and governance implications across business units. - Partnered with C-suite and owners (PE/family/corporate) on value-creation roadmaps, org design, and leadership bench building.
- Incubated and launched 10+ digital products and ventures; took MVPs to market, set P&L discipline, raised funds, hired venture talent, and built the cross-functional squad model. - Built D2C marketplaces and shifted decisions from expert-led to data-product-led. - Established go-to-market playbooks and governance (KPI/OKR rhythms) with founders and boards to secure funding gates and scale.
Built and operated a consumer venture end-to-end: product, brand, supply, and commercial. - Set operating cadence and leadership routines as interim CEO. - Hired and built the team across marketing, data & product, supply & logistics. - Continued as a board member after onboarding the permanent leadership team.
- Built a company-builder portfolio across AI, media, and food; set founder-level governance (funding gates, KPI/OKR rhythm), recruiting, and GTM playbooks. - Incubated and supported: F-ECTIVE (AI talent platform), MediaPine AG (B2B reading entertainment), and a stealth, tech-driven food concept—from concept and product strategy to early market entry.
- Shaped an AI-driven talent platform for white-collar work, matching opportunities to people on hard skills, experience, and soft-skill signals (behavioral/collaboration traits). - Helped define data architecture, matching logic, and the enterprise adoption path (pilot design, buyer personas, pricing). - Advanced to MVP and early Swiss pilots; did not pursue a next funding round/strategic partner, capturing learnings on distribution, data pipelines, and trust in talent products.
