Conducted the first in-depth study of Project Roomkey in California.

    Conducted a literature review and developed a research proposal for the California Air Resources Board on the effectiveness of 17 housing policies at preventing displacement and gentrification. Systematically reviewed academic and grey literature on housing policies such as rent control, inclusionary zoning, accessory dwelling units, and more in order to understand their impact on displacement of low-income communities of color. Proposed causal research designs for five policies that were particularly promising for future study.

    Oversaw planning for and spending of the $100 million Chronic Homelessness Initiative (CHI) in partnership with City and County of San Francisco. Created annual budgets, executed grant agreements, and maintained cash flow models. Managed the Moving On Initiative, a public-private partnership that connected over 200 formerly homeless individuals with Housing Choice Vouchers and helped them find and retain permanent housing. Tracked and maintained all team-wide data, reporting on outcome measures regularly to staff, donors, and board. Developed communications materials to translate work for a variety of audiences.
