Develop, lead, and support the site core turnaround planning/execution organization. Accountable for planning and execution of all work scope types (I.E. Projects, Plant Changes, Turnaround, and Catalyst Changes) on events of all sizes, whether there are T/A Event Manager(s) assigned or not. Lead by displaying Shell’s core values of Care and Respect for People, Integrity and Customer Focus Responsible for implementation, facilitation, and continued improvement of Shell’s AMS Turnaround work process
Lead Pit-stop/ Small T/A Planner/Scheduler for UP Professional Solutions at Shell Norco for the Major Maintenance division. Job role at Shell includes: -Working with equipment owners and discipline engineers to finalize a written work scope -Creating detailed safety plan for craftsmen to follow during job execution -Creating detailed plans on all work that will be performed during unit outages -Building detailed schedule with leveled resources in Oracle Primavera 6 -Identify long lead items and purchase needed material prior to project start date -Creating Purchase Orders for required contractors to perform work -Rent all required equipment needed to perform job -Produce all needed quality control paperwork for all disciplines on the project -Ensuring that all work is executed in a safe and timely manner -Assist with any safety concerns that were not identified in the original safety plan -Audit work activities during project execution -Identify and resolve obstacles that may affect flow of work -Identify developmental work and gain authority before working additional jobs in field -Send out detailed updates with schedule/ cost attainment, HSE records, delays, and schedule impact -Track all costs of work being performed throughout the project -Walk down job with equipment owners upon project field completion to turn over -Ensure all Quality Control packages have been properly filled out and turned in at job end -Ensure all additional material, rentals, and equipment is turned in upon project completion
