This position involves a responsibility for various administrative support tasks for the School of Business, including but not limited too, office support, front office coverage, and as needed duties. More specifically the duties of this graduate assistant-ship are budget support, research assistance, marketing and communications, and office logistics. The position assists the PCSB Dean's Office and PCSB staff when necessary on administrative tasks related to strategic priorities and other special projects as assigned. These projects include providing support for data mining and analysis, collecting and auditing course materials for assessment purposes, assisting with faculty search support, and providing general administrative support for the School's various strategic centers and programs for academic excellence.
1. Assist with the preparation and submission of invoices for State funded contracts. 2. Assist with Accounts Payable functions. 3. Enter billing and accounts receivable information into the MIP system in an accurate and timely manner. 4. Record and reconcile payments using the MIP system. 5. Assist with the preparation and entry of journal entries. 6. Assist with the agency annual budget preparation. 7. Assist with the preparation and submission of internal fiscal reports. 8. Assist with the preparation of bank deposits. 9. Assist with the bank reconciliations. 10. Maintain confidentiality of all financial case information. 11. Interact effectively and respectfully with others and particularly with individuals whose backgrounds and life experiences are different from one's own. 12. Contribute to the overall success and quality of the agency-wide issues and needs. 13. Constructively utilize formal and peer supervision to evaluate and improve effectiveness. This includes active participation in supervision, team meetings, and agency meetings. 14. Pursue ongoing professional development through professional reading and attending relevant worships and conferences (includes Children's Friend's core training as applicable). 15. Other duties as assigned.
