Sometimes, the world needs you to wear different hats and I'm no exception. I always had a desire to create video games, but as I continued in my studies, I found that I grew to enjoy the reading, writing and research processes associated with the study of history. Not only that, I grew to love the process of planning out a well crafted paper or presentation. That joy of planning led me to an unlikely place, Markleeville, CA where I spent 12 years helping organize the annual Tour of the California Alps - Death Ride cycling event. But I never lost my interest in the the world of technology and I realized that it would be beneficial for me to expand on those skills. That led me to learning how to configure Cisco networking equipment and architecture along with expanding my own Information Technology knowledge and troubleshooting. As a result, I found that I had a wealth of skills in two different fields to contribute. My specialties include the ability to learn new skills quickly and problem solving for any situation. As an event planner, I bring time management, research and customer service skills that are essential for any employee. From a technical perspective, I am highly proficient in PC troubleshooting in both hardware and software. Specifically, I am highly proficient in Microsoft SQL server, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Salesforce CRM systems and Cisco routing and switching technologies. When I am not working, you can usually find me either on the slopes in winter skiing, capturing the world around us with photography or on the edge of my seat watching a game of soccer.

• Assisted with all day to day chamber operations including helping visitors with questions about area recreation opportunities, issuing of permits along with sales of Chamber merchandise. • Helped to coordinate operations of the Tour of the California Alps – Death Ride® cycling event including rider registration, course management, food distribution, volunteer recruitment and public relations duties with various sponsors and tech support groups. • Created and maintained Excel rider database for the Tour of the California Alps – Death Ride® cycling event • Created the first Chamber of Commerce media contact list, establishing media contacts in print and television for any Chamber of Commerce news or special event. • Created a PowerPoint presentation detailing the functions and services of the Alpine County Chamber of Commerce and assisted in presenting it to the Alpine County Board of Supervisors. • Development of the official Alpine County app for Android devices. • Maintained social media presence via Facebook for both the Alpine County Chamber of Commerce and the Tour of the California Alps – Death Ride®. • Proofing of all advertising materials for Alpine County including the annual visitors guide and Chamber website.
