It helps immerse them into the main character so that no matter what in-game challenges come their way they can react, understand and overcome it in a natural and fluid way. It drives progress, tests boundaries and brings excitement and fun. What can I, the player, do? What comes next for my character? That 'just-one-more-checkpoint' feeling.
Building an exciting new virtual reality experience using the HTC Vive in Unity3D
Was responsible for an internal app section for a retail-facing demo. I managed the overall application flow and handled UI implementation, adjusting both for new animations and translations to different languages. I created and tested builds in Unity for both Windows and OS platforms. On occasion I also helped with taking photos of real-life models with the camera rig set up that would then be rendered and rigged into usable game model for various projects.
