Duties: • Capturing and billing of anesthetist’s accounts. • Telephone debt collections. • ICD10 and procedure codes of specialist accounts. • Listing and delisting of patients on ITC. • Handling bad debt accounts over to Legal Department. • Working out quotations for anesthetist’s fees. • Admission of patients. • Phoning of Medical aids. Promoted Position: Debtor clerk Supervisor (5 Employees) Duties: • Debt Collection for 4 Anesthetists accounts. • Attending meetings with Practice Manager and Doctors. • Financial reporting and conduct age analysis for clients and Doctors. • Liaise with debtors and credit control. • Interviews and training of new personnel. • Managing debtor team, sorting out problems and sitting in on disciplinary hearings. Promoted Position: Senior Supervisor (10 Employees) Duties: • Debt Collection for 8 Anesthetists accounts, Team doctors of 6 anesthetist doctors per debtor clerk. • Attending meetings with Practice Manager and Doctors. • Financial reporting and conduct age analysis for clients and Doctors. • Liaise with debtors and credit control. • Interviews and training of new personnel. • Managing debtor team, sorting out problems and sitting in on disciplinary hearings. • Leave Management of staff. • Skills Development (in-house training) of staff. • Monthly financial reporting on income receipts and turn over. • Departmental and Management goal setting on a quarterly basis.
