I have several years of experience working as a Manager in the Specialty Coffee industry in Vietnam, where I’ve built a solid foundation in team leadership and customer service. I am passionate about continuously improving my skills and advancing my career within Luxury Hospitality. My goal is to further develop my expertise in management, with a particular focus on Human Resources Management. I am eager to deepen my knowledge in this area to become a more well-rounded, professional leader, capable of fostering efficient, high-performing teams in the industry.
My short-term goal for this year is to pursue online courses related to management, operations, and finances on various platforms to enhance my skills and knowledge, which will enable me to support my superiors and colleagues more efficiently in my current position. In the coming years, I aim to continue developing my skills and become a better mentor for my team. I also intend to expand my network of relationships and customers and take on more significant responsibilities and tasks within the company.
Achievement After more than 1 year of working, I had developed an employee handbook and established an efficient workflow process. I productively built and managed a new team that exceeded revenue targets. I learnt how to communicate and resolve disagreements with my teammates with empathy and integrity. I have developed negotiation and persuasion skills with my superiors to build scientific and appropriate human resource and policies.
After completing 2 months of probation, I was one of the first employees at the Sài Gòn branch who was sent to support the Đà Nẵng branch. During my time there, I was trained and worked flexibly between the bar and kitchen. I gained more knowledge about the desserts and savory dishes offered on the menu. During my working process, I have significantly improved my presentation skills and ability to convey product information to customers.
Achievement After 2 years and 5 months of working, I had experience in Cupping and Sensory skills, acquired basic knowledge about Roasting coffee, and gained a deeper insight into the Coffee industry. Additionally, during the Covid pandemic, I have improved my communication skills.
