VIP offers a comprehensive range of services, including routine eye exams and LASIK surgery as well as treatment for cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and other ocular diseases. The Company is among the region’s leading ophthalmology providers, with more than 140 practitioners and a footprint that includes 65 practice locations and 11 surgery centers across Maryland, Washington D.C., Virginia, and Pennsylvania. I serve on the Board of Directors and provide strategic and operational support to the outstanding management team and caring eye care professionals.
Theia Vision advises businesses in the ophthalmology sector on matters such as strategy, funding, project management and business development. Clients include private practices, device and pharma companies, CROs and software companies that serve eye care surgeons, practices and ASCs.
Navigate was formed to solve a major problem in ophthalmology: Educating cataract patients in a clear and concise manner. Navigate provides personalized patient education that drives profitable cataract surgical growth for our ophthalmology practice partners. We deploy the most passionate cataract surgical educators virtually (Patient Navigators) to educate our practice partner's cataract patients on all of the surgical options their doctor makes available to them. We are proving that we can produce sustainable revenue growth and happy patients by providing our concierge level educators and our proprietary software platform while reducing a practice's patient education costs and saving precious exam lane time.
Century Vision Global was a strategic acquirer of ophthalmic practices and other service businesses that support ophthalmology. I was charged with identifying target assets and facilitating all acquisition deal flow.
