I assisted the Germanier team during Haute Couture Week by dressing models and managing quick changes with precision and speed. Ensured each couture look was properly fitted, secured, and runway-ready, handling last-minute adjustments and collaborating closely with stylists to maintain the designer’s creative vision. Contributed to backstage flow by anticipating wardrobe needs, preparing looks in advance, and supporting smooth transitions throughout the show. This opportunity provided hands-on exposure to the intensity and craftsmanship of Haute Couture, sharpening my attention to detail and ability to perform under strict timing. I strengthened my teamwork, adaptability, and backstage workflow experience while gaining insight into couture garment handling, styling coordination, and the standards required at high-fashion runway shows.
I contributed to the production of a runway show at Shangri-La Hotel (Paris) by organizing and styling the backstage environment for models, makeup teams, and staff, ensuring a functional and aesthetic workspace. Assisted as a backstage dresser by helping models change, managing quick wardrobe adjustments, and maintaining outfit readiness. Acted as a coordination link between the event director and presenting designers to secure seamless run-of-show timing. Supported guest experience through hosting, welcoming, and seating, while assisting with overseeing the overall venue flow and front-of-house operations. This experience offered my first direct exposure to the dynamics of the fashion industry, immersing me in a fast-paced, high-pressure event environment where precision and adaptability are essential. I developed stronger organizational and multitasking skills, improved my communication and coordination across creative teams, and gained hands-on insight into backstage operations and runway production workflows. It also reinforced my ability to stay calm under pressure, solve problems quickly, and contribute to a seamless show experience from both an operational and creative perspective.
