Second-year Microengineering Master's student at EPFL (GPA 5.4/6), focused on photonics and semiconductors. I've had the chance to work on sub-THz wave generation, aerial robotics, and lean manufacturing. Along the way, I've helped organize a large student fair and coordinated a production team. I'm comfortable with C/C++, Python, and CAD tools, speak French and English, hold a private pilot license, and used to play music semi-professionally. I enjoy working through tricky problems, especially when the pace picks up.
Run the production department day-to-day: workflow, efficiency, and quality control.
Reorganized the production floor into modular zones, using 3D renders to test layouts before implementing them. Reworked the inventory so materials flow better and frequently-used parts are closer at hand. Designed and built custom furniture and test benches to match our ergonomic and testing needs.
Ran broadband sub-THz characterization setups using RF signal generators, frequency multipliers, and optical spectrum analyzers. Built a Python benchmarking framework to process the experimental data and compare TFLN and TFLT performance. I specifically looked at high-frequency propagation losses and velocity matching to gauge signal integrity. Identified the dominant physical loss mechanisms by checking directional asymmetry, which gave us a clean read on how each material actually performs.
Manufactured a full-scale drone swarm system for multi-agent autonomous missions and MPC integration.
