I am an entrepreneur, author, speaker and former media executive with more than two decades of experience at the intersection of media, culture, brands and community. My career began as one of Germany’s first fashion and lifestyle bloggers at a time when most magazines had not yet entered the digital space. What started as a creative side project eventually led to leadership roles across the international media industry, including Editor-in-Chief of INTERVIEW Magazine and Refinery29 Europe, followed by Vice President at Vice Media Group/Refinery29, where I oversaw international content and brand strategy. Today, I am the founder of 2ND HOME, a curated marketplace for vintage and second hand interiors, and co-founder of MIKADO CULTURE, a consultancy focused on talent brands, cultural marketing and modern brand building. In 2025, I published my first book, YOU MANIFEST YOU (Penguin Random House), which led to the launch of a mentorship programme focused on personal growth, reinvention and intentional life and career design. Throughout my career, I have been fascinated by one question: how culture shapes the way we think, buy, connect and build our lives. That curiosity continues through my Substack newsletter, OPINIONS + OPTIMISM, where I share commentary, observations and opinions on culture, media, consumer behaviour and modern life, always with a healthy dose of optimism. I regularly work with brands, founders and organisations on strategic consulting projects, social media partnerships, thought leadership initiatives and cultural insight work. I also speak at conferences, host and moderate events, participate in panel discussions and appear on podcasts covering topics such as media transformation, personal branding, creator economy, entrepreneurship, cultural trends, female leadership and the future of community.
