As a Workshop Supervisor (Mechanical) at ADNOC Group, I oversee the repair and maintenance of various Rotating and Static equipment for the oil and gas industry. I have more than 18 years of experience in this field, and I hold a Bsc. degree in Electronics Technology from Loyola Academy Degree College. My core competencies include quality assurance and control, reverse engineering, project management, logistics coordination, and team leadership. I am skilled in using 3D scanner, precision measuring instruments, alignment gear, testing gear, and ASME standards. I also have experience in conducting site health care checks, generating QA/QC reports, and facilitating customer walkthroughs. - Visual & Dimensional inspection of pump components to establish conformity with OEM specs and generate QA/QC report on all major pump/element overhauls. - Reverse Engineering of 3rd party pump components using 3D scanner & precision measuring instruments. - Maintain calibration schedule for measuring instruments, alignment gear, testing gear & co-ordinate timely calibration. - Supervision and co-ordination of workshop/local site activities & personnel. Generation of route sheet. - Project management on various in-house packaging projects - Logistics co-ordination - Procurement of services & parts through local vendors - Site health care checks of pumps & report - Co-ordinate testing of lifting equipment & maintain records - Supervision of work carried out at Authorized Service facilities. - Progress report generation for customer projects - Drawings for cost estimation of parts to be manufactured through local vendors
- Co-ordination of QC personnel activities to ensure timely submission of reports, drawings, etc. - Verification & approval of all drawings issued to machine shop. - Verification of all inspection reports made prior to submission to line manager. - Co-ordination between shop floor and QC activities. - Planning and prioritizing inspection & reverse engineering activities to meet production deadlines. - Monitoring daily work reports of QC personnel. - Customer walkthrough on inspection reports. - Carrying out dimensional and visual inspections. - Co-ordination of workshop personnel to ensure timely completion of scheduled jobs and submission of daily timelines. - Verification of generated route sheets to ensure compliance with customer requirements. - Co-coordinating calibration of measuring instruments as per required cycle.
