I worked at Harvard University’s Resource Efficiency Program, a peer-driven educational initiative dedicated to promoting sustainable living within undergraduate houses and dormitories. As a ‘REP’, I engage with my peers on topics of sustainability through events, competitions, and campaigns. Furthermore, I liaise with Harvard administrative staff to have a direct impact on campus sustainability goals. This is achieved through operations-focused projects that tackle issues of water wastage, food waste and energy use.
This role allows me to collaborate with climate-conscious students and university faculty to drive sustainability initiatives across campus. As a member of the council, I provide feedback and recommendations, helping to shape Harvard’s sustainability strategy while advocating for environmental justice and impactful campus-wide change.
