The project involved an exhaustive review of the production constraints with a major focus on batch sizes and raw materials supply seasonality. Was primary interface with operational team to ensure a smooth handover and sustainability of the implemented solutions -Consultant on a Total Working Capital initiative of a leading chemical company , in charge of implementing production planning techniques, analysing business constraints and strategic decisions drivers for inventory management. A complete review of the replenishment parameters as well as a change in the decision model enabled a 40% inventory reduction. -Senior consultant in analysis of different business units of a European food industry company. -Developed a supplier segmentation to enable a better understanding of the suppliers’ portfolio to limit the supply variability in a livestock gelatine business -Designed a financial approach to high level plant shutdown planning based on sales and capacity constraints in a complex batch size driven business. -Created a tool facilitating the management of slow and obsolete stock in the meat processing industry enabling a challenge in market price fluctuations vs. inventory holding costs. -Developed a trade off in a FMCG environment facilitating the development of production and replenishment rules as well as analysing the global supply chain set up including Make To Stock vs. Make To Order strategy and the visual decision support to the choice of different plant configurations.
