Led data infrastructure as part of the tech leadership team, ensuring reliable, observable, and high-quality data flows across all engineering domains. Deployed event-driven architecture using AWS EventBridge and SQS, designed and implemented consumer-driven contract testing and a real-time monitoring in Go on Kubernetes. Instituted company-wide data quality contracts, monitoring, and alerting, embedding them into engineering’s incident management process — cutting mean time to detection for data issues from hours to minutes. Planned and orchestrated a large-scale system migration, decoupling Salesforce from core operations by introducing HubSpot for Sales/Marketing and backend services for Operations; coordinated delivery across multiple engineering teams. Served as the most senior individual contributor, reporting directly to the CTO, and acting as trusted advisor to Sales, Marketing, Ops, and Product leadership on critical technical and organizational decisions.
Architected and built the company’s analytics platform end-to-end (Snowflake, dbt, Metabase, Airbyte, Terraform), partnering with business stakeholders to define requirements and enabling data-driven decision-making across all functions. Hired and mentored an analytics team (analysts, analytics engineer, analytics lead), handing over day-to-day analytics while retaining ownership of infrastructure and strategic direction.
