The Medien.Zustell GmbH (short: MZG) company is producing collections of paper advertisements - we are taking the envelopes and the advertisement material and automatically put these together on an Austria-wide scale on 5 production lines at 3 sites in Austria. I am the company's main contact for IT and network related incidents and for IT related projects within the company. The whole scope of my tasks is very broad and consists for example of: + IT Security related communication towards the B-ICSM team of our main company + creating databases with production data and integration of this data into Microsoft Power BI (together with external companies) and creating reports in Microsoft Power BI + developing and administering various other IT projects both in backoffice and production (technical details of the production line) - ranging fom SAP response times up to "deep topics" such as establishing a concept of using sensors to measure various physical parameters occuring in our production + being responsible for the configuration of our Production Administration Systems at all our sites in Austria + coordinating tasks such as introducing process optimizations company-wide. The position is officially listed as "Technische Assistenz der Geschäftsführung". The production capacity of MZG is up to 125.000 complete collections every hour (25.000 collections per hour on each of our 5 production lines) - and still we are individual enough to produce special collections for each "target zone" - wich equals the size of an Austrian Post's "Rayon" (german), so every "Rayon" can receive its own dedicated set of advertisements. In this way, 6 million collections are produced every week within the MZG company. Transport and delivery of our products are executed by the Austrian Post.
