About

My team leverages data sources from urban environments to enhance energy efficiency and conservation, as well as improve comfort, safety, and satisfaction for humans. We lead the development of the open-source smartwatch-based Cozie data collection project, the ASHRAE Great Energy Predictor III and Cool, Quiet City Kaggle competitions, and the SpaceMatch activity-based workstation optimization platform. I am the creator of the YouTube online course titled "Data Science for Construction, Architecture, and Engineering," which was formerly an edX course with over 45k+ participants worldwide.
