ITBA is one of Argentina's leading private engineering universities. Permanent adjunct appointment teaching the Machine Learning module within the "Plantas Industriales" course for industrial and manufacturing engineering students. Approx. 50 students across 2 cohorts (in-person and online). Role concluded due to relocation to the Netherlands. • Designed and delivered the applied Machine Learning module, covering model evaluation, feature engineering, and end-to-end workflow design within an industrial-engineering context. • Connected ML fundamentals with real-world optimisation challenges in operations and production environments, drawing on supply-chain and process-industry examples. • Mentored students through end-to-end data modelling exercises, analytics workflows, and evidence-based decision-making.
EANA is Argentina's state owned air navigation service provider. Reported to the CEO. Inherited a 3 person Excel and Access team and grew it to 5 analysts and engineers while building the national ATM analytics platform. • Architected Argentina's national ATM data integration platform, consolidating flight level data from 5 automation systems covering 50,000+ air movements per month into a single authoritative source. • Cut national aviation statistical error margins by 10x through automated validation frameworks and engineering best practice. Reduced manual analyst effort by ~5x. • Designed and implemented ICAO GANP aligned KPIs now consumed by EANA executives, ANAC (the national regulator), ATFM, and Finance. • Stack: Python ETL, MS SQL Server backend, Power BI semantic layer. Scoped an Apache Airflow plus MinIO on premises data lake as the future state under national security policy prohibiting cloud usage. • Built applied ML traffic forecasting models in scikit-learn supporting airspace capacity planning across multiple horizons.
• Coordinated the development and certification of Argentina's first integrated SSR plus ADS-B radar system, deployed at Paraná as the proof of concept for a 22 system fleet upgrade with a total programme scope of $110M to $175M. • Led a portfolio of concurrent radar, navigation, communications, and facility projects valued at tens of millions of dollars, managing vendor relationships, FATs, SATs, and ANAC regulatory approvals. • Conducted ICAO ASBU feasibility studies for ADS-B, Mode S, MLAT/WAM, remote towers, and PBN. • Represented Argentina at ICAO CAR/SAM regional meetings 2018 to 2024, presenting national performance metrics and standardisation plans to ANSPs, regulators, airlines, and airports.
50-person flexographic and lithographic printing company in Mendoza (Argentina's wine capital), specialising in labels and packaging for the wine and spirits industry. • Implemented Lean manufacturing practices including a full plant layout redesign that streamlined production flow and measurably reduced workplace accident risk. • Commissioned and delivered a custom PHP-based KPI tracking system enabling real-time definition, monitoring, and drill-down reporting of production quality metrics across the facility. • Conducted quality audits, introduced continuous improvement cycles, and developed operational dashboards to increase transparency across production lines.
