Claude Piel is an international journalist, political scientist, and law graduate with extensive international experience. Drawing on her background in global crisis zones and strategic communications, she connects perspectives from the Global South and the Global North to develop a European view of major power shifts and the defining challenges of our time. Her work includes editorial leadership across 25 countries and 8 languages. In The Battle for Water and Dark Sea, she explores global interdependencies and the ways in which resource conflicts evolve into broader questions of geopolitics, security, sovereignty, and world order.
