Singapore
I build order out of chaos, design systems that scale, and translate complexity into clarity, in English and Mandarin, across cultures, functions, and continents. My work sits at the intersection of people, performance, and organisational design. I take ambiguous problems and turn them into structured solutions that outlast the project that created them. I've done this across supply chain, engineering, procurement, and social services organisations in Singapore, Sweden, and China. The domain always changes, but the impact compounds. I am currently a L&D Manager at Volvo Cars, and am always looking for the next complex problem worth solving.
I lead learning strategy and capability development for Volvo Cars' Industrial Operations function (supply chain & manufacturing), reaching 19,000+ employees across Europe, APAC, China, and the US. I partner with senior leaders and HR to translate business priorities into scalable training solutions, spanning blended learning design, change enablement, onboarding, and knowledge architecture. 🏅 Key achievements: • Reduced learning content production time by ~50% by designing a standardised development operating model covering storyboarding, approval gates, SME workflows, and content tracking, establishing a repeatable model for future programme expansion • Conducted skills gap analysis across the global Procurement function (~400 employees), identifying 5 critical capability gaps spanning supplier management, trade compliance, logistics and materials flow, cost management, and legal contract literacy; translated findings into a multi-workstream curriculum covering in-person learning events, digital modules, embedded workflow guidance, and knowledge hubs • Strengthened cross-functional collaboration and commercial decision-making across Procurement by designing and delivering a flagship Learning Day for ~150 employees, achieving 65% voluntary attendance and 80%+ positive feedback; enabled siloed teams to build stronger relationships, understand interdependencies, and apply total cost and business impact considerations in day-to-day decisions. • Built and governed a scalable digital learning architecture (SharePoint/SAP SuccessFactors LMS/LXP) as a single source of truth for onboarding, technical, and soft-skills programmes, improving training discoverability and enabling self-directed learning across global teams • Designed and led a 4-month structured early-career development programme for 3 professional immigrants, owning job design, recruitment, onboarding, weekly coaching, and performance management, achieving 33% conversion to full-time placement
Selected as 1 of 46 graduates (top 1.5% of 3,000+ applicants) for Volvo Cars' international leadership programme. I designed a cross-regional journey across 6 rotations spanning L&D, employee engagement, internal communications, change enablement, and knowledge management, operating across Swedish, Singaporean, and Chinese corporate environments. 🏅 Key achievements: • Led a structured Training Needs Analysis (20+ interviews) for the Engineering function, producing insight reports that surfaced capability gaps; findings were adopted into the Academy's learning roadmap • Designed and coordinated a global training and communications programme for ~9,000 engineers, tailoring curriculum and communication content and delivery to distinct audience segments to support large-scale system and process adoption across regions and time zones • Embedded in Volvo Cars' Shanghai operations for 3 months, applying bilingual (English/Mandarin) cross-cultural facilitation to bridge knowledge access between Chinese in-market teams and global stakeholders; built a centralised SharePoint knowledge hub for China product updates, localised technical Chinese-language content into actionable English documentation • Co-led three concurrent global learning workstreams during the consolidation of 8 LMS platforms into SAP SuccessFactors, delivering Q1 milestones on time; improved compliance training quality and user experience for 40,000+ employees globally and standardised global localisation practice through a new translation workflow covering vendor collaboration and AI-assisted translation • Achieved 91% event turnout and 580+ LinkedIn engagements executing a culture and employer brand launch for 90+ guests in Singapore; secured 3 earned media features, strengthening external brand positioning • Strengthened culture across 42,000+ global employees through structured engagement campaigns on Viva Engage and Staffbase, driving a 30% increase in internal blog readership and 1,000+ event visits
I ran an independent tutoring practice more than 8+ years, designing personalised learning journeys and delivering one-on-one coaching sessions for 11 primary school students. Conducted individual needs assessments, adapting content to learner pace and gaps, and translating complex Math and Science concepts into accessible, structured learning experiences that drove consistent academic performance improvement.
I managed complex cases in a multi-agency environment, developing strong skills in stakeholder engagement, cross-functional collaboration, structured facilitation, and translating complex guidance into clear, actionable plans for diverse individuals and families. 🏅 Key Achievements • Managed 82 active cases simultaneously in a high-stakes, multi-agency environment, conducting needs assessments, designing individualised intervention plans, and coordinating with Family Justice Courts, Singapore Police Force, psychologists, and schools to deliver consistent, compliant outcomes. • Closed 12 complex cases within 12 months through structured progress tracking, gap analysis, and continuous risk monitoring. • Facilitated structured group and individual consultation sessions across diverse cross-cultural communities, translating complex legal and social guidance into clear, actionable next steps.
