      I worked in the travel business Disney Destinations International (DDI). Our team managed the sales and marketing of Walt Disney World, Disneyland Paris and Disney Cruise Line in the UK, Ireland and across EMEA. I had a varied role that was split between two functions – EMEA Product Marketing & Digital Marketing. On the Product Marketing side, my responsibilities included; • Marketing Alignment: assisted with co-ordination of marketing and sales activity across key EMEA Markets including Spain, Germany, France & the Middle East and the alignment of this with UK activity for Disney Cruise Line & Walt Disney World Florida. • Marketing Collateral: supporting regional Disney offices to ensure respective Trade Partner Brochures meet Disney brand guidelines (i.e. VECI, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OxPQOKjv00w UN MUNDO de Cruceros), working with AREI on a Disney Cruise Line TV Spot, Spanish Department Store El Corte Ingles for in-store Disney Cruise Line light boxes, as well as ad-hoc support with printed material & press advertising. • Visit Orlando Roadshow: provided support to Business Development team in the organisation of Edinburgh based Trade show. • Ship Tours: played a role in ensuring successful product demonstration of Disney Cruise Line in the shape of a Ship Tour in Dover, England – involving travel partner communication, liaising with security teams, and meeting travel agents on the day itself.

      • Web Management: worked with Disney Parks & Resorts and Disneyland Paris Digital teams in Orlando and Paris. Ensured Disneycruise.com (UK, EU & ME) and DisneylandParis.co.uk/.ie websites had content fully up to date and that all campaigns were briefed/launched on-time and meeting the marketing campaign guidelines. • Web Testing: supported manager with Quality Assurance (QA) testing of new European Locale version of Disneyworld.com. • Analytics: weekly Data collection, analysis, attribution and reporting for all lines of business e-commerce and digital marketing performance for both Disney Cruise Line and Walt Disney World. Raw data sources included Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, DoubleClick and Tableau. Produced weekly performance reports with commentary for 30+ distribution inc. senior management. • Business Intelligence: had the opportunity to be a part of a developing BI strategy. With data connections to the raw sources above, towards the end of my internship we were producing automated enhanced reports from Microsoft Power BI which were time-saving, reduced chance of errors moving/manipulating data and allowed us to focus on analysis/actions for the business. • Paid Search: supported Paid Search media team with Disney Cruise Line Campaign copywriting (Spanish) for Disney Cruise Line. • Google: took part in a knowledge transfer programme between DDI Interns & Google Apprentices. Spent time with product experts from YouTube, Google Arts & Culture, and EMEA Product Strategy and Operations. We also had a session with the Influencer Marketing Manager to gain campaign insight on the Google Pixel 2. In addition to this, we gained an insight on the partnerships Google has with the Financial Services sector.
