Wolverhampton, England, United Kingdom
I'm a creative individual with a logical approach to a situation. You must be willing to do the things today others won't do, in order to have the things tomorrow others won't have. Open to all new paths that come my way. Be a leader, not a manager!
I'm currently looking after approx 210 customers including two football stadiums and a UK wide national indoor adventure park with over 27 in the group, and still growing. Recently secured the new opening of 30 new digital, state-of-the-art gaming rooms which takes a lot of time and attention to make sure the services are ready in time for their opening dates. I also successfully complete tenders across all sectors, with five won so far and more in the pipeline. Attention to detail is key here as they can be very demanding and need to be completed to a high standard. I am always searching for new opportunities with my customers as well as looking for new ones out in the field. New and existing business, I can handle both. Whether it's a quick telephone call to see how they are or a face to face meeting to discuss their requirements, I am very adaptable to their ever changing needs. Maintaining the customers spend and reducing leakage, along with growing the account is the core of my role, but also winning the smaller business opportunities is part of what I do. Whether the care, educational, commercial or leisure sector, I can talk to all as I understand the differences that each sector needs.
Due to an internal structure change, my role has now developed to a full time Purchase Manager, dealing with suppliers directly and helping to negotiate terms and prices.
The marketing aspect of the role now requires a more hands-on approach, using a Marketing Agency to help assist us to relaunch Biasi UK in to the new direction the business is heading.
I also help on the sales side of the business due to my wealth of knowledge that I have acquired over the many years of employment at Biasi UK.
Along with my current role, I have been given the role of Head of Internal Sales. Due to my length of time at Biasi UK, and also the varied roles I have had, this new role requires all the acquired knowledge gained to deal with customers and internal issues. I have three Area Sales Managers and one internal Order Processor to look after.
As my previous role but now including stock control and marketing, albeit on a basic level. We have over 1000 lines of products that need to be ordered in a timely fashion, depending on where in the world they are being shipped from. This was a challenging role throughout Covid. Handling all social media and website changes.
Temporary position for six months.
My duties included: • Quoting customers for bespoke computer systems • Ordering stationery and computer components • Answering the telephone and dealing with customers face-to-ace • Issuing all invoices and chasing when not paid • Petty Cash • Year end returns • Keeping the accounts system (SAGE) up to date • Meeting suppliers I also began building computer systems and also made basic repairs.
