At Altus Capital, I focus on evaluating hospitality and real estate special situations opportunities across Southeast Asia. My day-to-day work centers on conducting rigorous asset-level diligence, market intelligence, and underwriting complex real assets. I build and maintain detailed projection models, asset valuation models, and cash flow tracking tools specifically designed to assess downside protection, recovery potential, and exit scenarios. From managing data rooms to synthesizing complex data into investment memoranda and internal committee materials, I support the end-to-end investment process while actively tracking portfolio performance against initial underwriting forecasts. Previously, I built a strong foundational buy-side toolkit at Gentree Fund, where I supported the end-to-end evaluation of live venture and growth capital deals totaling US$3.7M across fintech, F&B, and insurtech. I directly led commercial diligence workstreams, participated in founder meetings to assess business model scalability, and reviewed extensive management materials. My technical execution included building scenario-sensitive financial models based on operating KPIs and unit economics, alongside developing valuation ranges using comparable companies and precedent transactions to drive high-conviction investment sizing and IC recommendations.
