BEFORE & AFTER STUDIOS (May 2022 - Present) Generating trend and design for this British Fashion Consultancy. Design Jersey and Denim across womenswear and kids categories. GOLDEN EMPIRE (February 2022 - May 2022) Providing trend and design for this fully sustainable supplier across multi product womenswear for brands including Joules, Boden, Hush, Hobbs, BAM, Barbour, Fat Face. FRIDAY SARI PROJECT (June 2019 to January 2020) Personal Assistant to this Concept Store and space, the first of it kind showcasing contemporary Fashion and Design from India and Sri Lanka. HUSH (August 2018 to June 2019) Assisting design ideas and design specifications on all woven product categories for Autumn/Winter 2019 and Spring/Summer 2020. MOSELEY ROAD (April 2018 - June2018) (Part Time) Designing directional denim and casual wovens across multi product for both Womenswear and Menswear at this creative fashion Jersey and Denim supplier. Producing trend appropriate ranges in line with clients needs from ethically sound production. Focusing on clients ASOS, Miss Selfridge, Dorothy Perkins, Fat Face, White Stuff, Monsoon, John Lewis, Hobbs, Matches, Top Man, Burton. KAUTILYA INDUSTRIES (September 2017 - January 2019) (Part Time) Working independently and reporting directly with the owner of this large Indian Factory/supplier producing jersey wear for all categories to clients Fat Face. U.O.B FASHION LONDON LTD (March 2017 - May 2017) (Part Time) Helping to set up and produce new jersey and woven casual product for the new London Office of this Turkish supplier. DEM TEXTILE (Nov 2016 to Present) (Part Time) Designing independently and reporting directly to the director of this large Turkish jersey manufacturer. Currently proposing new trends, shape direction, fabrications and designs for Jersey wear across all product categories for Women's and Menswear on the George at ASDA and Debenhams accounts.
Creating a new vision and casual product aesthetic for the destination lifestyle brand Dickins & Jones. - Responsible for designing a cohesive multi product range, including jersey, and woven tops, outerwear, casual bottoms, knitwear and denim. - Collaborating with the design team to dictate top line trends and colour for the business and working independently to derive mood and colour stories for Dickins and Jones. - Briefing and working closely with the in house print designer to generate key prints and graphics for the season. - Establishing supplier base in India, China, Vietnam, Portugal, Turkey and UK to suit new casual handwriting.
DEM TEXTILE (March 2015 to Jan 2016) (Part Time) Reporting directly to the director of this large Turkish jersey manufacturer. Currently proposing new trends, shape direction, fabrications and designs for Jersey wear across all product categories on the George at ASDA account.
Introducing and designing true casual jersey across all product categories on both heavy weight and light weight bases. Working collaboratively with the design team in Leicester to ensure product has synergy with initial design concept, mood and colour. Liaising very closely with product developers from all territories including Turkey, Sri Lanka, India, Bangladesh and China. Pushing factories to source and develop new fabrications, wash, dye and printing techniques. Ensuring manufacture runs smoothly and to a high standard in time for presentations to head office.
Temporary role to support design team across woven/jersey dresses, woven tops, skirts and lounge wear. Ensuring product is aspirational and premium. Working with the design team to define trend for the Autumn/Winter 2015 Season, creating mood boards, colour palettes and key shape direction. Manufacturing out of India, China and Portugal. Sourcing fabrications through the far east as well as British and Italian fabrics within Europe.
