Sole lecturer for CHEM 746: Intermediate Organic Chemistry. Designed course from ground up focusing on preparing students for the rigor of graduate level synthesis. Topics taught include the fundementals of Organic I/II, organometallic and transition metal cross-coupling, the basics of physical organic chemistry, retrosynthesis of complex molecules, and the basics of drug discovery, Students also gain presentation experience by preparing a 30 min lecture on an advance topic not covered in the course.
Senior Scientist in Discovery Process Chemistry
I held an assistant professor position at VCU. The focus of my research was the development of new methodologies in organic synthesis in concert with the aims of the Medicines for All initiative at VCU.
Post Doctoral Researcher under Dr. Gary Molander at the University of Pennsylvania.
