My name is Cedric and I am a Systems Engineer I at Raytheon in the Radar Signal Processing department specializing in DSP and ML. Previously, I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in Electrical and Computer Engineering. I also worked for Skyworks as a Signal Processing and Chip Design intern, where I worked on active noise cancellation headsets.
Working on radars & neural nets
• Developed and optimized DSP algorithms for active noise cancellation in headphones, improving noise attenuation performance • Analyzed frequency-domain behavior using 15+ FFT, transfer function, and coherence plots in NumPy and Matplotlib to diagnose distortion and filter issues • Performed microphone calibration under bounded-input/bounded-output constraints to ensure stability and reliable signal capture • Built unit and integration tests using Pytest and Unity, improving algorithm correctness and overall headset performance • Refactored 2,000+ lines of Python using Pylint, increasing code maintainability and adherence to industry coding standards • Designed an all-pass quadrature IIR filter in C, reducing computational cost by removing 1 addition, 2 multiplications per sample
