Since falling in love with computers in my Senior year of college at Centre, I have successfully followed my passion with helping others use and troubleshoot them. After working many years at various Computer Resellers, I decided to form my own professional services business, CisCom Solutions in 1996, to help Small and Medium businesses\organizations get their networks connected safely to the Internet and assist with other needs. Fast forward to today, CIsCom has grown to over 20 employees, supporting a wide range of technologies to become one of the premier, locally owned, IT companies. I plan to work at CisCom Solutions until I retire then possibly follow another passion of mine: traveling the far corners of the earth! Manage the Marketing, Sales, Finance and Administration. Also manage large implementations and special projects.
Project Manager for the deployment of over 600 computers and 20 servers in 3 buildings for ALLTEL Corporate HQ in Little Rock, AR. Managed a Team of 10 Engineers for the duration of the project. Network Engineer for the Southwest Engineering department at ALLTEL Corporation. Managed 35 CAD stations in 5 different states.
Installed computer labs and library systems in various schools though out Kentucky and Indiana. Also was responsible for deploying the entire network infrastructure at 5 schools in LaRue County, Kentucky.
Was Technical Product Specialist on the AT&T LAN Manager and UNIX System V Rel. 4. Also provided technical support for Open Systems Accounting software.
