Responsible for developing and maintaining partnerships with business, industry, and community while increasing awareness of Harris County Department of Education’s programs and services. Provide creative leadership in proactively identifying, cultivating, and soliciting new partners and engaging with existing partners. Coordinate all meetings and functions, including fundraising and development, of the Education Foundation Board of a Directors and serve as the liaison between the Foundation and HCDE. • Assist the Education Foundation Board of Directors in the development of a fundraising plan and monitor progress of both short and long-term goals. • Direct development program to cultivate, motivate and solicit individual, foundation and corporate donors, which includes the development and maintenance of a computerized system of donors and prospective donor information. • Maintain current knowledge of developments and practices in fundraising, planned giving and tax laws related to charitable giving. • Plan and coordinate all meetings and functions of the Education Foundation Board of Directors. • Plan, direct and supervise implementation of the Education Foundation’s internal and external public relations programs.
• IT Training Coordinator – Define, develop, curate, and deliver of IT Training courses. Both face-to-face and virtual learning, in multiple modalities such as e-learnings/videos. • Developing and maintain partnership with business, industry and community stakeholders and foster a network of SMEs to help produce learning solutions. • Analyzes data collected and training records, evaluates results, draws conclusions, and makes recommendations for changes/improvements, and monitors the status of issue resolution • Help define, implement, and maintain metrics such as learning utilization and feedback where appropriate, as well as assessment results, and consolidate the results to generate basic statistics to guide data driven improvement. • Work with HCDE Division Leaders to understand the needs of HCDE students, teachers, and staff. • Coordinate IT skills gap analysis for employees to determine training needs. • Plan, develop and modify curriculum, training material, online help, knowledge articles and job aids to fit HCDE needs. • Create an inclusive and diverse workplace. Instill a sense of purpose, set clear direction and boundaries, provide the space for colleagues and partners to be at their best. • Work to motivate excellence, implement change, and fully utilize advance IT-related capabilities available to HCDE staff and teachers.
•Provide general advisory to the HOOT! Executive team. •Help set up communication between relevant contacts and the HOOT! executive team to discuss potential connections and opportunities. •Discuss questions or concerns that the HOOT! executive team may have about the product, market, or related industries. •Help the HOOT! executive team make connections with desired customers, markets, team members, or other advisory board members. •Support the success of HOOT! and evangelize the platform.
•Support activities related to training programs for Exxon Mobil Research & Engineering (EMRE) and Manufacturing, primarily growing and sustaining the Targeted Knowledge Transfer (TKT) training program •Support Global Manufacturing Training (GMT), Technical and Commercial Leadership (TCL) programs, and additional training programs consistent with competency development strategies with EMRE •Provide direct day to day support as well as regular stewardship support to all levels of leadership (management and technical). Roles and Responsibilities: •Works with Business Line management and Learning Advisor/Curriculum Manager to identify training needs via gap analysis •Adapt global training content to meet regional training requirements, as appropriate •Actively delivers training content as appropriate •Ensure effective delivery of training courses (planning, scheduling, material preparation, invitations, evaluations) •Supports the activities of the Curriculum Managers as required, including supporting the development of Training content (e.g. local SME coordination to support curricula development, design, and implementation) •Support the Curriculum Manager in the collection of data •Monitors training and ensures completion (including certification, tracking, ect.)
