  • Co-Owner at Micilín Muc
    Jan 2018 - Dec 2023 · 6 yrs

In our family-owned bacon products business, I managed both operational and promotional roles, working on the factory floor and leading social media initiatives. Our offerings included bacon-based sausages, rashers, sausage rolls, and other products, catering to a growing local customer base. I engaged with local news outlets and radio stations to promote our products, launching successful advertising campaigns that helped grow our customer base. I also had to engage and work with Údarás na Gaeltachta and other state authorities, to secure support and navigate growth opportunities. I also attended several business and production management seminars and courses to enhance my expertise throughout the years, due to opportunities provided by the business and my role in it. Through these efforts, we expanded our reach to nationwide sales across Ireland during and after the pandemic. This role allowed me to develop a well-rounded skill set in product production, social media marketing, and public relations, culminating in a successful acquisition by a major bacon producer.

  • Student Relations Officer at Altınbaş Üniversitesi
    Aug 2021 - Feb 2022 · 7 mos

During my time in Altınbaş, I was in between the Student Relations and the Erasmus Coordination Department. With the Student Relations office, students would come to me with any issues they may have regarding their studies or fees. I had to make sure that their profiles and fees were up to date on their student portal before they could graduate. I also helped organize networking events for alumni so they could meet up with potential employers and connect with their former classmates. With the Erasmus department, My main goal was to welcome the incoming international students and help them settle into life in a new country. I helped with organizing their orientation and attended many trips and events with the students throughout the semester. Since I knew about the visa process and residence permit requirements, I helped the students get all their necessary documents together so they could be submitted to the Migration office. Working with both departments, I was obligated to attend meetings regarding the promotion of the university abroad, so we could set up partnerships with other universities and attract more international students.

  • Data Analyst at InStat Sport
    May 2018 - Dec 2018 · 8 mos

As part of my university work placement, I luckily was given the chance to work within the football industry. InStat supplies scouting packages to football clubs around the world, both big and small. These packages include access to a large database, full of information on teams and players. The database also included thousands, upon thousands of videoclips that the customer could watch. I was trained in all departments within my first two weeks and these included, the scouting, recruitment and marketing departments. I then chose to remain in the scouting department as I was interested in working with data and analytics as it represented a new challenge for me and of course, I got to watch a lot of football. I would be given a new team every week and would have to supply an opposition report for their upcoming opponents. I would watch and analyze the last five games of my weekly team, use the data that our analytics department would supply me and turn those stats into words. In my report, I would have to include videoclips that back up my analysis.
