I bring years of experience in public governance and a commitment to transparent, impactful leadership. Currently pursuing a law degree to further enhance my ability to serve and lead with integrity.
- Serve as a liaison between the Dean of Students and a student body of over 2,000 students - Responsible for managing the relationship between the student body and dining service provider, Aramark - Oversees My Sister's Closet, a student-led initiative where gently worn or used clothing are provided at no charge to Spelman students experiencing financial difficulties
- Established an impactful social policy advocacy experience for campus community through initiatives/programming - Increased understanding on the complexity and expansiveness of concerns related to the quality of domestic and global life experiences for women through structured training - Prepared to transition to role as Social Justice Advocate in pursuit of defining equality and equity for all people
- Represents Spelman College at various events and visit days throughout the year - Supports the Office of Admissions in recruiting prospective students and welcoming guests to campus - Provides an abundant amount of relevant and historical information to visitors, prospective students, and guests - Models good character and presents the positive spirit of Spelman College
- Participated in the inaugural six-week, full-time Advancing Black Pathways Apprentice Program focused on exposing students to hands-on experience, project-based curriculum and professional readiness - Completed 20 hours per week of career focused learning highlighting career mobility, personal branding, JPMC/financial education and building professional trajectory - Partnered with Chase Business Banking Small Business clients to solve, manage and execute on designated business problem - Utilized SCRUM framework to navigate and partner with team members on successfully completing and solving for Small Business focused project - Researched and identified both public and private sources that could be utilized to fund tuition for individuals attending trade schools and institutions that do not qualify for federal financial aid
