I am a graduate in History from Brigham Young University, with an emphasis in US History and Family History and Genealogy. For nearly two years I have worked as a privately contracted genealogist, and have also spent some time working on BYU's 'Nauvoo Project'. During the summer of 2022, I spent seven weeks interning for the LDS Church Department of History in Madrid, Spain. My goal is to obtain both a Master's and PhD in History, specifically focusing on Native American and U.S. Immigration history. My five Gallup strengths are input, woo, positivity, context, and communication. In my free time, I have joined BYU's Sustainability Club, organized and coordinated music for a local church, spent eighteen months as a volunteer in Brazil, trained for triathlons, worked on a small-scale flower farm, scuba-dived in the Philippines, participated in a humanitarian organization in Guatemala, and adopted a black kitten from a local shelter.
