I am a motivated third year university student pursuing an Honours Bachelors degree of Forensic and Pharmaceutical Science with TUS Midwest. I have a profound interesting in evidence-based problem solving, analytical sciences and enjoy working in laboratory environments on tasks that require precision, detail and focus. During my time as a STEM student as well as my internship with Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, I have accumulated a variety of laboratory skills, efficient teamwork and communication as well as a curiosity in pharmaceutical technologies and their human medicine applications.
As part of my university work placement module, I am currently employed as an intern in the quality control department of the Regeneron Ireland Raheen manufacturing site.
I was employed in the deli section of MACE Shannon. Daily work activities included the deep cleaning of the workspace and electronic appliances, management and workflow of food, customer service and food preparation. I became qualified in food-safe cleaning as well as preparation and storage. Other duties included the delegation of tasks to other team members and managing traceability for food stuffs.
I fulfilled the role of assistant team leader and document scanning and digitalization clerk on a record scanning project, completed with HT Aerotech as part of a set contract. This included the use of Scansnap software and hardcopy scanning machines. Physical binder files were deconstructed and scanned into digital copies on Google Drive. Excel was used to track the progress of document scanning.
