Soldinerstraße Prefabricated Timber Construction Apartment Complex | Wedding, Berlin | HOAI LPH 5-7 Lead architect delivering execution planning for the office's flagship timber construction project; a 4 storey apartment building constructed entirely from prefabricated baloon frame and CLT timber elements. Led detailed design in coordination with a team of specialist planners including timber construction acoustic and fire-safety specialists. Consulted closely with specialist manufacturers of timber frame facade and fire protection systems to ensure design and specification compliance with strict fire safety regulations (MHolzBauRL). Coordinated design with contractors and specialists to ensure delivery and assembly of prefabricated elements up to 9m long on a tight courtyard site with limited access. Undertook cost estimates in accordance with DIN 276 to precisely compare tenders from a number of specialist prefabricated timber cotractors.
Osnabrückerstraße High-end Apartment and Mixed-Use Complex | Charlottenburg, Berlin | HOAI LPH 5 Integrated extensive research in insulation, facade, prefabrication, de-mountability, and fire-proofing in close collaboration with specialist manufacturers to ensure design and specification compliance with relevant DIN and EN standards, as well as BauO Bln. Exceeded project sustainability goals by integrating design research in cradle-to-cradle demountable mineral plaster systems (Weber.therm circle) and developed expedient, waste-reducing prefabricated mineral wool WDVS panel design in close collaboration with manufacturer.

AL18 Domestic Extension | Dublin, Ireland | HOAI LPH 1-8 Lead architect and project manager (Leistungsphasen 1-8) on AL18, a complete domestic renovation project on a small suburban plot. Centering on conserving as much of the existing structure as possible, the 'extension' actually involved reducing the overall area of the building while maximizing floor plan efficiency and upgrading the building envelope. Materials such as pavers, polycarbonate and timber were retained for re-use in an external storage structure.
