I am currently completing my 2nd year of studies at Queen’s University Belfast, approaching on my 3rd which includes a professional placement. I have taken part in two IT related placements these include work experience with Kanios IT in 2022 whereby I helped solve various different problems related to websites. As-well as this I also took part in the digital DNA event in St George’s market. Both of these opportunities gave me greater insight into the IT industry and only increased my want to pursue a career in this field. As for my skills having working in a number of kitchen environments within part time jobs I have had to become efficient with time management, team work and communication. Which I believe are all useful skills that can transfer and prove useful in any line of work.
