    Handpicked by then-President of FAS in 2024 as an ideal candidate to succeed the previous General Secretary, given my track record and familiarity with the fraternity, to lead the association to grow Singapore football across grassroots to youth development and elite football. Managed an annual budget of over $30M to run the association, a professional football league and the national teams. Led in the setup of a new commercial team and raised >$1million of additional funding with over $800k in cash value within 10 months. Football achievements included men’s national team reaching semi-finals of the AFF championship in 2024 and currently at the top-of-the-table for the Asian Cup 2027 Qualifiers as well as our women’s national team qualifying for the 1st time, the AFF women championship in 2024. Organised numerous high-level international sporting tournaments and events such as the men's national team Mitsubishi Electric Cup and Asia Cup Qualifiers matches at the national stadium, the Lion City Cup 2025 that for the first time, featured both U16 boys and girls tournaments involving country like South Korea, and Women All-Stars match against Australian Brisbane Roar, as well as a global workshop tour with Qatar’s Aspire Academy in Singapore. Established strategic partnership with English Premier League to co-organise grassroots programme and with FIFA and Singapore Prison Service to run coach's development programme for inmates as well as spearheaded FAS to a successful Festival of Football events involving Arsenal FC, Newcastle Utd FC and AC Milan.

    In the forefront of policy development and implementation of the Active Ageing Centre (AAC) national programme as part of Age Well SG (ASG) to tackle Singapore’s emerging ageing and social isolation issues amongst seniors. Drove the development of the new AAC 2.0 service model with Ministry of Health and implemented the model across the Social Service Agencies (SSAs), including ramping up more than 200 centres nationwide. This included uplifting the SSAs’ ability to deliver the service model and supported them in capability and capacity building as well as tackling issues pertaining to funding, infrastructure and manpower. Instrumental in bringing together and aligning key stakeholders from ministries, statutory boards, grassroots advisers, healthcare organisations and social enterprises to operationalise the service model. Spearheaded the design and implementation of a new national volunteer programme, Silver Guardian, in support of ASG to provide manpower support as well as offer volunteer opportunity for seniors at the AACs. The programme was successfully rolled out in 2024 with over 700 new volunteers within 6 months of implementation.

The centre is the first-of-its-kind football facility in Singapore featuring state-of-the-art equipment and amenities. • Strong leadership over the 2 years saw accelerated growth including winning the 2021 Singapore Premier League title, 2022 Community Shield, 2022 Women Premier League title and best achievement for a Singapore club in the inaugural participation in the AFC Asia Champions League in 2022 with 2 wins and 1 draw, beating a Korean club.
