• Perform failure analysis on failed components from production (test failure) and feedback the analysis findings to requestors in the form of reports and photographs • Ensure a speedy turnaround time towards fulfillment of FA cycle time target for failure analysis requisitions • Ensure failure analysis equipment under his or her ownership are at the optimum condition • Document and review all FA processes under his or her responsibility in terms of FA Machine operating instruction and Process work instruction. • Venture into new approaches/concepts in product failure analysis techniques and equipment to get the pertinent failure information with less effort and/or time • Able to increase efficiency when conducting analysis task, to increase task completion output by using less time.
*Involved in Process Setup of Assembly Open Short Test (AOST) process - experienced in Open Short test program qualification for new products. - experienced in Open Short test machine setup in model of HexaMaxx and Hexawhizz. - experienced in qualification/introducing of new platform of Open Short Test. - experienced in yield monitoring for AOST process, to determine assembly defects. - experienced in Failure analysis of AOST such as X-ray, Electrical Failure Analysis and Potential Failure Analysis. - ensure the AOST yield achieve targeted yield and release to production. *Involved in Process Setup of Sam Scan process - experienced in recipe setup for Sam scan machine (Gen 6 platform and Sonoscan) - experienced in identifying delamination issue on the package *Involved in Singulation process recipe and machine setup for New incoming Design package - experienced in machine conversion for FSL and Hanmi platform of Singulation process. *Involved in New Product Introduction yield monitoring to ensure the yield is matured before High Volume mode run in production.
