Lead Verification & Compliance – NZ Start-Up, World’s First Hydrofoil Bike • Led mechanical and product verification for Manta5’s pioneering electric hydrofoil bike, developing and maintaining processes using DFMEA in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders. • Directed the correct application of verification and validation strategies to ensure the product met criticality, risk, and regulatory requirements. • Led new product regulatory requirements activities, identifying and applying appropriate regulatory standards for innovative products • Created and maintained detailed test procedures, commissioning and maintaining test rigs and interfaces using CAD to support prototype and production testing. • Conducted product risk assessments, managed compliance, certification, and external testing processes, coordinated with contract manufacturers, vendors, third-party labs, and consultants. • Maintained verification plans and status reporting to track project progress and ensure robust product validation from concept through launch.
