With 18+ years’ experience as a UX Consultant, UI-UX Team Lead, Design Thinking Coach and User Researcher, I strive to empower user needs in the product development process for creating more user-friendly products and solutions. I help various companies to identify customers’ pain points and translate data driven UX results into user insights for delightful user experience. I drive UX strategy and identify user requirements by leveraging UX metrics, user-centered design, innovative design thinking, advocating user voices and accessibility, and implementing UI design and agile UX to guide design decisions with multiple stakeholders in product development. With a track record of securing >$2.5 million projects from UX consultancy, training, and research grants, I support companies to spearhead end-to-end UX programs and create UX impact to increase customer satisfaction and align with their business goals. As a UX mentor, I mentor numerous companies and nurture >200 young talents by providing UX methodology know-how for their project accomplishment. I am invited as a speaker at numerous conferences and events for knowledge-sharing in the topics of UX and creative multimedia. In addition, I am an Accredited Human Resource Development Corporation (HRD Corp) Trainer by Ministry of Human Resources Malaysia and MBOT (Malaysia Board of Technologist)'s Assessor for Art, Design and Creative Multimedia (AM) cluster. During my leisure time, I love life-long learning and contribute my time in practicing Mindfulness, non-violent communication (NVC) and empowering technical skills with the senior citizens. • Conducted User Experience Design (UED) bootcamp and courses under General Assembly syllabus to corporate employees for career growth and also unemployed graduates for upskilling & reskilling skillsets. • Mentoring juniors and talents for career transition into UXD field. • Led and tailored a comprehensive User Experience Design Bootcamp using General Assembly syllabus ranging from user research, design, prototpying to testing, resulting in a 95% satisfaction rate among students.
As an Accredited HRD Corp Trainer, I provide timely and customer-centric consultancy services and training to corporate employees, youths and senior learners. I collaborate with training service providers to capture the customers' requirements and tailored the Trainings and Consultancy in UX Design, UX Research and Design Thinking.
• Trained >1200 senior citizen in empowering them upskilling with digital transformation and smartphone courses at University of Third Age (U3A). • Developed and conducted hands-on training for senior citizens in Malaysia for learning smartphone and digital tools.
