Chuck frequently collaborated with sales and marketing to develop product strategies, presenting as a thought leader at tradeshows, blog posts, and webinars. His foresight in identifying needs, such as bringing on specialty teams for cloud migration, has consistently led to significant savings and enhanced capabilities. Technical Depth: Chuck possesses deep technical expertise, demonstrated by architecting a consolidated Databricks environment from multiple on-premise data warehouse solutions (Azure SQL Server, Azure Data Factory, Oracle, Informatica) into an Azure-based data platform, which increased throughput significantly. He led the development of a new data warehouse for USA Staffing and USAJOBS, capable of refreshing the entire data warehouse in less than three hours. He also engineered data and software systems using tools like Netbeans Java Profiler and VisualVM to debug complex problems and improve user experience. Chuck's technical presentations cover topics like "Tuning ETLs for Better BI" and "Performing Oracle Health Checks using APEX," showcasing his command of performance optimization and monitoring tools. He played a pivotal role in designing and implementing a Data Science environment for Dow Jones Data Scientists on AWS, using Postgres and Python. Chuck is passionate about leveraging engineering tools and AI to solve complex challenges and drive impactful results.

Experience

  • Chief Technology Officer at eNhance CCM
    Jan 2026 - Mar 2026 · 3 mos

eNhance CCM recovers revenue for health systems across the country — and the engine behind that recovery is data. As CTO, I’m responsible for the technology platform that transforms raw, highly varied hospital billing data into actionable revenue intelligence at scale. When I joined, onboarding a new health system client took 2–3 weeks and 40–96 hours of senior engineering time. We’re now doing it in 1–2 days. That shift didn’t happen by hiring more developers — it happened by rethinking the architecture entirely. I led the design and delivery of an end-to-end, AI-assisted ETL platform that handles schema detection, automated mapping, data quality validation, and GRR-compliant staging across a growing portfolio of hospital clients. We’ve eliminated over $800K in annual development costs while building the foundation to scale from 10 clients to 180+. Looking ahead, Databricks is central to our data platform roadmap — positioning us to move from client-by-client pipeline execution to a unified, cloud-scale lakehouse architecture capable of supporting enterprise-grade analytics, real-time case generation, and the data volume that comes with national scale. The intersection of healthcare data integrity, revenue recovery, and modern data engineering is where I operate — and the margin for error is zero.

  • Principal Consultant at Pragmology
    Sep 2025 - Mar 2026 · 7 mos

Senior Technology Leader and Principal Consultant providing Strategic Direction and Enterprise Architecture expertise to both US Federal Government agencies and high-growth private technical enterprises. I specialize in driving Digital Transformation by designing and executing the Hybrid Cloud roadmap across Azure, AWS, and on-premises data centers. My core technical focus is the modernization of data stacks: leading the full migration of legacy ETL (SSIS) and complex SQL procedures to high-performance, cloud-native pipelines utilizing technologies like Python, Databricks, Parquet, and DuckDB. This work includes strategic database conversions (e.g., Oracle to PostgresSQL) and providing Program Governance for mission-critical software and cloud migration projects, ensuring performance optimization and significant TCO reduction for all clients.
